Area Operations Manager

Located in conway, AR

Salary: $19/hr

A growing petroleum and lubricant distribution company is seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple locations in Southeast Arkansas.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for employee supervision, inventory management, customer service, delivery coordination, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple locations
• Supervise warehouse, delivery, counter sales, and operational employees
• Monitor fuel, oil, lubricant, DEF, and related inventory levels
• Coordinate product ordering and replenishment
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of products
• Coordinate deliveries, scheduling, and logistics with drivers
• Assist customers with product questions, pricing, invoicing, and service concerns
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages
• Assist with customer account and billing issues as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe facilities
• Ensure equipment inspections and maintenance are completed on time
• Train employees on operational procedures, safety requirements, and customer service expectations
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and applicable OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements
• Assist with cost control and operational efficiency
• Support overall profitability, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
• Operations, warehouse, petroleum, lubricant, fuel distribution, or similar industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Experience with inventory or accounting systems preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and workplace safety requirements preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds or more
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and vehicles as needed

Schedule

Regular business hours with occasional overtime or emergency response needs.
