Manufacturing Engineer / Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer / Process Improvement Specialist to support manufacturing operations, customer quoting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position works closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to improve processes, develop production standards, and support customer requirements.

Job Duties

• Support Sales and Customer Account Specialists during customer discussions and project development
• Develop labor standards, routings, and manufacturing work instructions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
• Work with Design Engineering to improve product manufacturability
• Support quoting, estimating, and customer-facing technical activities
• Evaluate capital equipment investments through ROI analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and process documentation

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
• Two or more years of manufacturing, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, technical sales, or process improvement experience preferred
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
• ERP system experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Quoting, estimating, or customer-facing technical experience preferred
