Operations Planning Analyst

Position Overview

The Operations Planning Analyst plays a key role in supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations through production planning, inventory management, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination. This position is responsible for helping ensure efficient operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the successful execution of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production planning and scheduling activities to meet customer demand and operational goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock availability.
  • Analyze operational data and develop reports to support business decisions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to improve processes and performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate planning and operational data within ERP systems.
  • Assist in managing supplier performance and coordinating with domestic and international suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management standards and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain, operations, or a related environment.
  • Working knowledge of production planning, manufacturing operations, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and global supply chains is preferred.
