Schedule:1st Shift 6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday ($20-$21)
Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-11PM Monday-Friday ($22-$23)
Position Summary
The Swing-Reach / Turret Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating swing-reach (turret) equipment in a narrow-aisle, high-rack warehouse environment. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including inventory movement, order fulfillment, and product storage, and works at elevated heights for extended periods.
This position requires prior hands-on experience with Raymond brand “Man-Up” swing-reach / turret equipment. Candidates without that specific experience will not be considered, as the role involves operating at height in confined aisles where equipment familiarity is a safety requirement.
Essential Job Functions
Equipment Operation
- Operate swing-reach / turret forklift equipment in accordance with all safety standards and manufacturer requirements.
- Operate equipment at elevated heights and within narrow aisles safely and accurately.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defect or malfunction immediately; do not operate equipment that is unsafe.
Order Fulfillment & Inventory Movement
- Pick, pack, scan, and prepare orders with accuracy.
- Pick, stage, and put away product in designated rack locations.
- Load and unload trailers and organize inbound and outbound freight.
- Use RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to confirm inventory accuracy.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as assigned.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all OSHA guidelines, company safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Report any unsafe condition, near miss, or injury to a supervisor immediately.
Other Duties
- Perform general material-handling tasks and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Prior, hands-on Raymond brand “Man-Up” Swing-Reach / Turret truck experience (mandatory).
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks, with training and authorization provided in accordance with OSHA powered industrial truck requirements.
- Ability to work at heights and in narrow aisles.
- Basic familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Prior distribution center or high-volume, fast-paced warehouse experience.
- Reliable attendance and demonstrated adherence to safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating multiple types of powered industrial equipment (swing-reach, sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, order picker).
- Prior experience in a high-rack, narrow-aisle storage environment.
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory control practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
- Ability to work at elevated heights for extended periods.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment for extended periods.
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient to operate equipment safely and follow instructions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Attendance & Schedule Adherence
- Employees are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to shift start to ensure timely readiness for shift standup and safety meeting.
- Employees should keep consistent and punctual attendance and adhere to their regular schedule, including mandatory overtime schedules due to business necessity.
- There is a 5 minute grace period before and after the in/out punch for the shift.
- Adherence to regularly scheduled work hours is a primary duty of this position.
- Consistent tardiness, unapproved absences, or early departures directly affect team performance and safety.
- Repeated attendance violations may result in corrective action up to and including termination or the end of the assignment.
- Work may involve exposure to moving equipment, varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required (high-visibility vest, safety shoes, and any additional PPE required for elevated work).
- Overtime may be required based on business needs

- Hourly pay range as stated above, based on experience and skill level.
- Shift schedule and duration of assignment to be determined based on operational needs.
