Screen Print Press Operator

Located in North Kansas City , MO

Salary: $21/hr.

We are seeking an experienced Screen Print Press Operator to join a fast-paced production team specializing in textile and garment printing. This position is responsible for setting up and operating automatic and manual screen-printing presses while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and production turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic and manual screen-printing presses
• Complete high-volume production orders while meeting established deadlines and quality standards
• Prepare, burn, coat, and reclaim screens using appropriate mesh selections
• Adjust dryer settings based on different ink, garment, and fabric requirements
• Mix ink and prepare materials according to production specifications
• Inspect completed prints and perform quality-control checks
• Troubleshoot printing and press-related issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production workspace
• Work closely with other production team members to complete customer orders accurately and on time
• Perform additional production-related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an automatic screen-printing press preferred
• Willing to submit to drug and background screening
• Previous experience with textile or garment screen printing strongly preferred
• Knowledge of screen preparation, ink mixing, dryer settings, and print-quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot production or printing issues
• Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when production demands require
