Machinist

Location: Chickasha, OK

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual and/or CNC machines, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and producing precision parts according to specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other production personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• CNC programming experience is a plus.
