Sort and Rework Position

Located in Dickson, TN

Salary: $16 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking dedicated candidates for a Sort and Rework position at $16/hr. with an automobile parts manufacturing production company. Interested applicants must to be willing to work M-F: 6:00 A.M.- 2:15 P.M. and be flexible to work overtime hours on the weekends if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment by following all health and safety policy requirements of the company
• Inspect and sort parts off a press line
• Safely and accurately use tools to punch holes in metal parts as needed
• Safely and accurately grind rough edges of metal parts with a grinder as needed
• Be willing to learn and follow all procedures necessary for parts to pass inspection
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

 

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting 30 lbs.
• Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime as needed.
