Express is supporting a local Bloomington company in their search for a Wood Shop Associate located in Eden Prairie. In this role, you will assemble high-quality furniture components, operate hand and power tools, and help ensure that finished products meet our quality standards. What's an average day like as a Wood Shop Associate?
- Assemble wood furniture components according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Sand, fit, and prepare wood components for final assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with packaging and preparing completed products for shipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and production schedules.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
What we look for in a Wood Shop Associate:
- Previous woodworking, furniture assembly, cabinet making, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Experience using common hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
