1st Shift Inventory Technician

Located in Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $20/hr.

Are you detail oriented and want a job where you are making a difference?  A well known restoration company out of Indy is looking to hire someone for their Inventory position.  This is a very sensitive role as associates will be working closely with home/business owners personal belongings after a major disaster.

Inventory Technicians Summary/Company Information for Restoration: 

• This company does restoration work for residential sometimes commercial after fire, water, or any disaster damage
• The Inventory Technician will be going into residential properties that have suffered damage and taking inventory of all items in the home. 
• Technicians will record what the item is, decide if it is salvageable or not and assign it an item number then print a barcode, label and package the item.

Schedule:  1st shift, Monday-Friday.  However, flexibility will be necessary as some days report time will be 7am or 8AM and end of shift could vary with times wrapping up shift between 2pm - 8PM.  Some Saturdays also needed.  Once hired, client may also require 2-3 times per year, out of state/Overnight travel. 

 

Requirements:

• Lifting 35 lbs. + on a regular basis 
• Bending, stooping, standing for 8+ hours a day
• Willing to travel, Valid drivers license 
• Restoration, inventory, or construction experience would be a plus but not required
