Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Cycle Count Specialist to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for performing cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are properly located and accounted for within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have previous inventory control experience and must have hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
  • Operate a stand-up forklift to safely access and move inventory as needed.
  • Compare physical inventory counts against system quantities.
  • Identify misplaced, damaged, missing, or excess inventory.
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, and locations.
  • Accurately enter inventory adjustments and transactions into the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory locations.
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with physical inventory audits and scheduled inventory counts.
  • Identify recurring inventory issues and communicate potential root causes to management.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experience required.
  • Must have hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to identify inventory variances.
  • Comfortable working with computers and inventory management/WMS systems.
  • Ability to read and understand product numbers, labels, and warehouse locations.
  • Ability to work independently and investigate discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position.
  • Must be able to follow all safety procedures and forklift operating requirements.
