Recruiter (High-Volume Recruiting) - Austin, TX

Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to provide temporary recruiting support for a busy team in Austin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with candidates, building relationships, and managing a high-volume workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume phone screenings with candidates
• Manage a large pipeline of applicants and maintain timely follow-up
• Assess candidate qualifications and determine fit for open positions
• Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities
• Maintain accurate records within applicant tracking systems
• Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
• Meet recruiting metrics and hiring deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or HR recruiting experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable spending approximately 90% of the workday on the phone with candidates
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
