Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position: Full-Time

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Electrician for a local electrical contractor in the Stockton area. This is a hands-on position for someone with strong residential and commercial electrical experience who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete assigned projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical work

• Complete assigned electrical installations, repairs, and other electrical tasks

• Read and follow job instructions and electrical requirements

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify appropriate solutions

• Work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

• Use hand tools and electrical equipment safely and effectively

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout each project

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers as needed

• Follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate PPE

• Travel between job sites as required; approximately 50 miles per day on average

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company on job sites

• Strong residential and commercial electrical experience required

• Demonstrated electrician skills and hands-on experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

• Positive attitude and professional work ethic

• Dependable and punctual

• Ability to adapt to different job sites and assignments

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Tools & Work Attire

• All required hand tools are provided by the employee

• Work boots and appropriate work pants are required

• PPE is provided by the employer

Physical Requirements

This position may involve:

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Repetitive movements

• Ladder climbing

• Working in attics and confined areas

• Digging and other physical construction-related tasks

• Working in typical construction environments

Work Environment

This is an active field position with work performed at various job sites. Candidates should be comfortable working in typical construction conditions and adapting to different environments and project requirements.
