Press Operator

Salary: $20.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a reliable Press Operator to join their team.

Press Operator Highlights:

• Operate presses to manufacture rubber products
• Load and handle rubber materials throughout the production process
• Consistently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Work efficiently in a hot and noisy industrial shop environment
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use required PPE
• Perform additional production duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or press operating experience is an asset
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, and physically demanding environment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
• Steel-toed boots required

Hours & Wage:

• Monday–Friday
• Training: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for up to 4 weeks
• Afternoon shift after training: 1:00 PM–9:30 PM or 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
• Open availability for either shift required
• $20.00/hour during training
• $20.50/hour after transitioning to the afternoon shift
• Overtime opportunities available
