Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Brake Press Operators for a local manufacturing company in Stockton, CA!
Pay: Depending on experience
Location: Stockton, CA
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift
Must be open to working either 1st or 2nd shift
Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production specifications
Select and install appropriate dies, punches, and tooling
Set and adjust machine parameters, including bend angles and dimensions
Load, position, and safely operate materials through the press brake
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production requirements
Identify and report equipment, tooling, material, or quality issues
Maintain accurate production counts and required documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Previous Brake Press Operator experience preferred
Manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, bend angles, and basic fabrication requirements
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be flexible and available to work either 1st or 2nd shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
Ability to lift and/or move materials up to 50 lbs., with assistance or mechanical equipment when appropriate
Ability to safely handle sheet metal and work around industrial machinery
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety footwear
