Warehouse Associate

 

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  1. Receives and moves material in warehouse; unload material from vendor trucks, move to inventory location and update system to reflect inventory levels.
  2. Process picks orders from production requirements; locates material in system, pick up and move into inventory or new location and update system to reflect material movement.
  3. Prepare material for shipment; pull items from inventory, assemble shipment in boxes and pallets as per customer specification and update system to reflect material shipment.
  4. Uses ERP system to perform queries and other transactions.
  5. Conduct weekly cycle counting of inventory levels and reports discrepancies.
  6. Supplies and fills WIP bins and or lanes if applicable.
  7. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
  8. Responsible for following all safety procedures and policies.

  • Maintains inventory transfer accuracy

Key Decision Rights:

Uses existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks; no opportunity to deviate without prior approval or instruction.

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Key Attributes (Specify the educational background, qualifications and experience, typically required to perform the job fully and effectively):

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-5 years of prior experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
  • Reliable: Required to be on time and ready to work when needed.

  • Willingness to learn to use pallet jack, two-wheel dolly, and tow motor

Physical Effort and Work Environment:

  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and maneuvering up to 100 pounds
  • Frequent exposure to production noise
  • Frequent exposure to tow motor traffic
  • Work is performed in a highly demanding environment due to quantity and quality expectations
  • Exposure to heat or cold

 

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm

Pay rate: $20-22
