Express Employment Professionals are helping an industry-leading manufacturer in Eden Prairie, MN search for an Inventory Control Clerk. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing daily cycle counts, counting and reconciling returned materials from production, and helps support the accuracy count of all inventory quantities within the warehouse while ensuring location accuracy. What's an average day like as an Inventory Control Clerk?

• Perform daily cycle counts of A, B, and C items based on the cycle count schedule
• Complete inventory count verification activities and inventory variance recounts
• Maintain material flow for returns and count of incoming materials from the production floor
• Complete daily requested count verifications per buyer/planner and customer requests
• Provide back up for Inventory Coordinator
• Maintain safety as a priority at all times
• Maintain work areas in a neat, clean, organized and secure condition
• Other duties as assigned

 

What do we look for in an Inventory Control Clerk?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of materials handling and inventory experience
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to read, understand, speak and write in English
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of FIFO, traceability, etc.
• Forklift certified (or willingness to become certified)
• Ability to follow directions
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry and push/pull up to 40lbs
• Regularly required to sit or stand, walk, bend/kneel and reach
• Occasionally exposed to noise and vibration and required to kneel and climb

         

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
