Crew Leader

Located in Alton, TX

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Crew Leader to oversee and direct a team of field employees in daily water utility operations. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate and complete projects efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise a crew of field employees.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, schedules, and project priorities.
• Perform and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines, meters, hydrants, valves, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles required for water utility work.
• Inspect job sites, monitor progress, and report updates to management.
• Provide hands-on assistance in fieldwork as needed.
• Foster teamwork and ensure high-quality customer service in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in water utilities, construction, or related field required.
• Prior supervisory or crew leader experience preferred.
• Knowledge of water distribution systems and utility maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maps, and technical instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time position; schedule may vary depending on projects and emergency needs.
• Pay range: [ $18.13 “Based on Experience”].
