Technical Sales & Customer Support Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Sales & Customer Support Representative to support customers, promote equipment-related software solutions, and build strong business relationships. This position combines technical knowledge, customer service, and outside sales responsibilities, with significant travel throughout the United States and Canada.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Conduct face-to-face sales meetings and product demonstrations
• Promote and support software applications designed for industrial equipment
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Provide technical support and customer service before and after sales
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and technical documentation
• Assist customers with product implementation, troubleshooting, and training
• Achieve sales goals and support business growth initiatives
• Maintain accurate customer records, activity reports, and sales documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Travel regularly to customer locations throughout the United States and Canada

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, technical sales, industrial sales, or account management preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and mechanical understanding
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and technical drawings
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers and solve problems effectively
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel extensively for customer visits and business development activities

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 60% travel throughout the United States and Canada
• Travel expenses reimbursed in accordance with company policy
• Primarily weekday travel with minimal or no weekend travel required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and travel frequently
• Ability to lift and carry product samples, equipment, or materials as needed
• Ability to work independently at customer locations and industry events
