Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Painter to prepare and finish aerospace components according to customer specifications and strict quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with strong hand-eye coordination, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 25 lbs.; must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and sit as required.
Responsibilities:
- Apply primer and paint to aerospace brackets according to company specifications and customer requirements.
- Use RTV adhesive to attach rubber blankets to aerospace brackets to help reduce wear on critical hardware areas.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to properly complete painting and assembly operations.
- Perform quality control checks to verify components meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards while completing assigned work.
- Safely operate tools and equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
