We have an opening for a Sign Fabricator position working at a custom sign shop located in Hartselle, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

 

*** A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IS REQUIRED ***

 

Skills/Qualifications

A valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED.

Previous experience in the sign industry would be a plus.

Must be able to read a tape measure with 100% accuracy.

Must possess good mechanical skills and be familiar with using/operating hand and power tools.

Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Ability to work independently with little or no guidance.

Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.

Willing to train the right candidate with strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Punctuality and dependability.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Fabricate custom signs, channel letters, cabinets, monument signs, and related products from raw materials.

Operate shop equipment, including saws, routers, welders, and hand tools.

Read and interpret shop drawings and production specifications.

Assemble aluminum, acrylic, PVC, vinyl, and other sign materials.

Assist with electrical sign assembly and LED installation.

Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
