Industrial Electrical / Automation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical / Automation Technician to join a growing company specializing in automated manufacturing equipment and PLC-controlled systems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong industrial electrical background who is comfortable troubleshooting, wiring, and working with automated machinery.

Job Duties:

• Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical components and automated equipment
• Work with PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, sensors, motors, switches, and related components
• Assist with wiring and assembly of control panels and automated machinery
• Work with VFDs, HMIs, relays, contactors, and motor controls
• Diagnose electrical and equipment issues and complete necessary repairs
• Assist with machine installation, startup, testing, and commissioning
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical repairs as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures while working around energized equipment and machinery

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial electrical, controls, automation, or PLC experience preferred
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and motor controls
• PLC troubleshooting experience is highly preferred
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is a plus
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
