CDL Class B Delivery Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Class B Delivery Driver to join our growing plumbing and electrical wholesale distribution team. This position is responsible for making local deliveries, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience and be comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle for local deliveries
• Deliver plumbing and electrical supplies to customer locations
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Inspect and secure loads prior to transport
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Verify orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B License required
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50+ pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Loading and unloading trucks throughout the workday
• Standing, walking, bending, and climbing as needed
• Ability to work in both warehouse and outdoor environments
