Industrial Machinery Assembler / Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Assembler / Field Service Technician to fabricate, install, troubleshoot, and service automated industrial equipment and component systems. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to travel to customer locations to support equipment installation and service.

Job Duties

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and service automated industrial machinery and component parts
• Read, interpret, and follow production drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify solutions to operational issues
• Perform equipment installations, repairs, and service work at customer locations
• Test and inspect machinery to verify proper operation and performance
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment operation, service needs, and project requirements
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain service records and document installation and repair activities
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on equipment performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Previous experience in machinery assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, fabrication, or industrial service work preferred
• Strong understanding of basic mechanical principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass required background and drug screening requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and work in industrial environments
• Ability to use hand tools and equipment for extended periods
• Ability to travel and work at customer facilities as needed

Travel Requirements

• Ability to travel independently or as part of a small team
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and service equipment at customer locations
• Overnight travel may be required based on project and customer needs
