Location: Lewiston, ID
Pay: $22.00/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM. Schedule may rotate or change based on business needs.

Dispatcher Opportunity

We are hiring a detail-oriented Dispatcher to support a trucking company specializing in wood chip transportation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, problem-solving, coordinating schedules, and monitoring transportation operations in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work closely with drivers and mills to ensure deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to delivery locations
• Communicate with drivers and mills regarding schedules and routing
• Ensure drivers are delivering to the correct locations with the appropriate loads
• Monitor wood chip inventory levels and delivery needs
• Track driver activity and monitor speed compliance
• Use computer systems to monitor fleet and delivery operations
• Make and receive frequent phone calls throughout the day
• Maintain accurate records and transportation information

• Administrative or operations support experience
• Trucking industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the shift
• Frequent computer and telephone use
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communications simultaneously
