Team Lead - Warehouse Operations

Local Plumbing & Electrical Wholesale Warehouse

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Lead to join our plumbing and electrical wholesale warehouse team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can effectively oversee daily warehouse operations while working alongside team members to ensure orders are accurately picked, loaded, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support warehouse team members in daily operations
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Ensure inventory is handled accurately and organized properly
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
• Coordinate workflow to meet daily shipping and receiving goals
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to warehouse staff
• Communicate effectively with management regarding warehouse operations and team performance

Qualifications

• Previous Team Lead, Supervisor, or Warehouse Leadership experience required
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, wholesale, plumbing, electrical, or related industries preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy products throughout the workday
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting of up to 50+ pounds
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Loading and unloading trucks as part of daily responsibilities
