Position Details:

Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Location: Ferndale, WA

Pay: $20.00/HR DOE

 

What You'll Do

- Set up and operate Vertical CNC and Swiss Lathe machines

- Run machining programs while maintaining close tolerance and finish specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify finished parts

- Assist with new program setups and process improvements

- Recommend tooling arrangements, fixtures, and operation sequences to improve efficiency

- Troubleshoot operating issues and perform minor machine adjustments

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

 

What We're Looking For

- Minimum of 2 years of CNC mill setup experience in a manufacturing environment

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment

- Strong mathematical skills including fractions and decimals
