Metal Finishing / Grinding Operator

Pay: $18.00+/hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-4:30pm

Job Description: We are currently looking for a qualified Metal Finishing / Grinding Operator for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Responsibilities:

 Maintain appropriate attendance record.
- Assist in training new employees that enter the department.
- No specific prior training required for this position.
- Will train in foundry specific safety issues.
- Will train in industry specific business issues.
- Will train in machine operation specific issues.
- Ability to work in a production or process driven environment.
- Must be able to read.
- Must be able to perform simple math computations.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to perform practical communication.

Qualifications:

 Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.

 Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces.
