Express is supporting an industry leader for over 80 years in there search for a dependable and hardworking Sorting Laborer to join our production team in Bloomington, MN. In this role, you will help organize, sort, and move sheet metal materials and finished products within a specific manufacturing department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
 
 
What's an average day like as a Sorting Laborer?
  • Sort sheet metal parts, scrap materials, and finished products according to company standards.
  • Identify and separate materials by type, size, and production order.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support production and warehouse teams as needed.
  • Inspect materials for defects or damage and report issues to supervisors.
  • Help prepare products for shipping and storage.

What do we look for in a Sorting Laborer?

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout an entire shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
