Job Description: K-12 Tutor

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Pay: $12 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring services to K-12 students in various subjects with a focus on reading and homework assistance.
• Help students improve their comprehension, reading skills, and academic performance in different subjects.
• Assist students with homework assignments, ensuring they understand concepts and complete their work accurately.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage student engagement and confidence.
• Monitor and track students' progress, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Communicate with students and, if needed, parents regarding progress or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
• Strong knowledge in reading comprehension and general academic subjects.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
• Patience, clear communication skills, and a positive attitude toward working with students.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
