A casino is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee payroll. This is a key leadership position requiring extensive payroll experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage payroll processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Oversee the complete payroll process from beginning to end
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for casino employees
Review payroll reports and identify and resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Manage payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related requirements
Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records
Develop and maintain payroll procedures and internal controls
Work closely with Human Resources, Finance, and management
Research and resolve complex payroll issues
Supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff
Assist with audits, reporting, and year-end payroll activities

 

Qualifications
Extensive payroll experience required
Previous payroll management or leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, taxes, and compliance
Experience with payroll systems and payroll-related technology
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in the casino, hospitality, or gaming industry is a plus

This position requires a high level of technical payroll knowledge and demonstrated experience managing payroll operations.
