This organization is seeking a hands-on leader who can improve processes, develop teams, and help drive continued manufacturing success.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations and ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production. This role will oversee production, quality, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse functions while driving improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and delivery.

The ideal candidate is a strong manufacturing leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement on the production floor. This person will build accountability, improve processes, develop teams, and strengthen overall plant performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and production activities
• Oversee production, quality, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams
• Develop and coach supervisors, managers, and production employees
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and productivity
• Identify production constraints and implement solutions to improve efficiency
• Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and standard work
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and operational data to support decision-making
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to improve results
• Monitor key performance metrics including safety, delivery, productivity, and quality

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience
• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing teams, supervisors, or managers
• Experience in fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, paint, or engineered-to-order manufacturing preferred
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and quality processes
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data
• Proven ability to improve operational performance and develop teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
