Position Summary

A respected healthcare organization in the Montrose, PA area is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technicians to join its team. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

The Environmental Services Technician plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout healthcare facilities and satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Vacuum, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
• Empty trash and recycling containers and complete scheduled waste removal runs
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and entrances
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces according to established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness standards in clinical and non-clinical areas
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed
• Travel to nearby satellite facilities when required using a company-provided vehicle
• Report safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel between nearby facilities as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience
• Experience operating floor care equipment is a plus
