Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical service and support, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining service records, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Candidates will be considered at either the Service Technician I or Service Technician II level based on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and willing to travel occasionally to support customer needs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of instruments and equipment.
• Track and communicate service-related issues to management in a timely manner.
• Complete and maintain service documentation, records, and reports accurately.
• Recommend and perform corrective actions to resolve technical issues.
• Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining attention to detail.
• Gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members while also performing tasks independently.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Support company goals, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Report to work consistently and reliably to perform assigned duties.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical service, electronics, mechanical, or instrumentation experience preferred.
• Prior field service or repair experience is a plus.
• Technical certifications or related education are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and work with equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds individually and heavier items with team assistance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Travel Requirements

• Must be willing to travel occasionally to customer sites (approximately 10-15%).
