Our client in Marion, IA is looking for a Warehouse Associate!

Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse Associate to join a busy team in Marion, IA. This position is responsible for loading and unloading products, assisting with warehouse operations, and safely breaking down and recycling refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units, and other appliances. The ideal candidate is comfortable using basic hand tools, performing physical work throughout the shift, and working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload appliances, equipment, and other products from trucks and trailers.
• Pick up, move, sort, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
• Disassemble refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units, and other appliances using basic hand tools.
• Separate, break down, and prepare appliance components and materials for proper recycling.
• Assist with the safe recovery and removal of refrigerants and gases from appliance lines and components in accordance with established procedures and training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling appliances, tools, equipment, and recyclable materials.
• Assist with local pickups or deliveries as needed.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the shift.
• Basic experience using hand tools and working with mechanical components preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening.

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 6am – 2:30pm
• Occasional Overtime

Pay:

• $18/hour
