Service Advisor – Tire & Lube Shop

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy tire and lube shop. The Service Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, identifying their vehicle service needs, recommending appropriate maintenance, preparing service estimates, and communicating with customers throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide professional, friendly customer service.

• Listen to customers' concerns and gather accurate information about their vehicle.

• Recommend appropriate tire, oil change, maintenance, and repair services.

• Prepare estimates and explain services and pricing to customers.

• Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle needs and service recommendations.

• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle.

• Coordinate service workflow to help ensure vehicles are completed efficiently.

• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.

• Process invoices, payments, and other service paperwork.

• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service area.

• Follow all company safety and customer service procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive, tire shop, quick-lube, or customer service experience preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive services.

• Comfortable discussing service recommendations and pricing with customers.

• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills.

• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team.

• Valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to approximately 50 lbs.

• Ability to work around vehicles, automotive equipment, and outdoor/garage environments.

Schedule:
Full-time; schedule may include weekends depending on business needs.
