Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Seasonal Equipment Operator/Laborer for a wholesale nursery located in East Amherst, NY!  

*Please note: Season will run through December, then employee would be placed on a seasonal layoff until mid-March, weather permitting. 

 

 

Shift: The business is open 7 days a week 8am-6pm, must have open availability as weekly schedules will vary.

Payrate: $21/hr

 

Job Description: 

• Associate will operate a forklift/bobcat to lift large products. 
• Associate will be loading and unloading trucks filled with threes/shrubs.
• There will be occasional customer assistance by loading of bagged goods into customer vehicles when needed.

 

Requirements:

• Proven forklift or bobcat experience required.
• Valid Drivers License and/or experience driving a truck with a trailer. 
• Must be able to handle the outside elements (cold, rain, heat, snow etc.)
• Must have a friendly disposition.
• Lifting up to 70 pounds with assistance.
