Crane Operator
Location: Camden, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Overview
The Crane Operator is responsible for operating an overhead crane to lift, move, position, and reposition
materials throughout the facility. This role supports warehouse and processing operations by safely loading,
unloading, staging, and transporting materials while maintaining productivity and adherence to all safety
standards.
Responsibilities
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
• Place all materials in designated storage locations.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Load and unload processing equipment.
• Ensure workstations and equipment are properly staged to maintain workflow.
• Work with supervisors to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety meetings.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure orders are filled correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous crane, warehouse, or material handling experience is
preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Ability to follow instructions, work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment, and communicate effectively
with supervisors and coworkers.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, use hands and fingers, and communicate effectively. Must be able
to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Requires close vision, distance
vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
Industrial warehouse environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles,
chemicals, and varying noise levels. Personal protective equipment may be required.
