Express Employment Professionals is supporting an industry-leading aerospace company in there search for a Program Manager.  This is a direct opportunity with our client with no contract under Express.  The Program Manager will lead complex aerospace programs from contract award through successful delivery.  This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background managing aerospace projects, cross-functional teams, customer relationships, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables in a highly regulated environment.

 

What's an average day like as a Program Manager?

• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a program, from design stage through to completion including delivery
• Track and document progress of designated programs, submitting progress reports to external and internal stakeholders
• Maintain positive work relationships with customers and develop future business opportunities
• Manage program resources and budget accordingly through detailed reporting with spreadsheets
• Regularly review and analyze program scope 
• Identify and mitigate risk across designated programs
• Document contract reviews to confirm accuracy of budget and schedule

What we look for in a Program Manager:

• Minimum of 3 years of Program Management experience within the aerospace industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management
• Strong data entry and software experience including MS Office
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
• PMP certification
• Previous experience with government contracts

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
