Project Manager – Electrical Construction

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, project scheduling, budgeting, client management, and field coordination. This role does not require union membership, however extensive electrical industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
Monitor project costs and profitability.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
Resolve project issues and maintain client relationships.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
Strong understanding of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems.
Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and contract administration.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Electrical trade background, journeyman experience, or electrical engineering/construction management education.
Experience managing projects valued from $500K to $5M+.
OSHA certifications are a plus.
