Salary: $28.00 - $31.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm 

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00/HR

Duties: 

  • Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer to deliver products to branch locations and customer sites.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Transport products efficiently while ensuring on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.
  • Sort and distribute transfer materials into designated warehouse or RDC locations.
  • Consolidate and secure loads to maximize trailer space, including stacking and wrapping pallets and utilizing load bars.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and repairs with the leasing company as needed.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment when required.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and shipping documentation.
  • Keep trucks, trailers, and work areas clean, organized, and professional.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

Qualifications: 

  • Valid Class A CDL required.
  • 1-3 years of previous Class A CDL driving experience preferred.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within the past 3 years.
  • Forklift experience required; certification is a plus.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of transportation safety and DOT regulations.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and secure freight.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
