Maintenance Supervisor

Pay: $25–$30+/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Overtime: Available based on business needs
Location: Treasure Valley (will need personal vehicle to commute to job sites)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a growing, family-owned property management and construction company. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their tools, solving problems, managing projects, and leading a small team.

Our company supports a wide variety of properties and projects throughout the community, including residential and commercial properties, HOAs, childcare facilities, new construction, remodels, maintenance projects, and mobile home communities.

Because our client is a small team, every person plays an important role. The ideal candidate will be dependable, resourceful, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and projects
  • Lead and support maintenance team members in completing quality work safely and efficiently
  • Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, remodel work, and general construction tasks
  • Troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Coordinate work across residential, commercial, HOA, childcare, and other properties
  • Assist with remodels, new construction maintenance, repairs, and property improvements
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, professionally, and within expected timelines
  • Communicate with property managers, clients, vendors, contractors, and team members
  • Help prioritize work orders and respond to maintenance needs
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
  • Assist with estimating materials and identifying supplies needed for projects
  • Help coordinate materials, equipment, and vendors as needed
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures and company standards
  • Provide hands-on support wherever the team needs it

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in maintenance, construction, remodeling, or a related field
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of general building maintenance and repair
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
  • Comfortable performing hands-on work in a variety of environments
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, tenants, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and changing maintenance needs
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance and construction work
