We are currently hiring a Process Test Technician for a Clearwater Lab. This is a full time career oppportunity.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation
* Set up and run test equipment and automated processing machines.
* Load and unload electronic components, assemblies, or samples.
* Monitor equipment performance during testing and production runs.
Testing & Inspection
* Perform standardized electrical, environmental, and reliability tests.
* Record test results and identify abnormalities or failures.
* Conduct visual inspections of products before and after testing.
Process Monitoring
* Follow established operating procedures and work instructions.
* Monitor temperatures, pressures, voltages, and other process parameters.
* Adjust equipment settings within approved limits.
Documentation
* Maintain accurate production and testing records.
* Complete logs, reports, and quality documentation.
* Enter data into laboratory information or quality management systems.
Equipment Maintenance
* Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
* Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
* Report equipment malfunctions to technicians or engineers.
Safety & Quality Compliance
* Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls and laboratory safety procedures.
* Adhere to ISO, IPC, customer, and company quality standards.
* Maintain cleanroom or controlled-environment requirements when applicable.
Common Equipment Operated
* Environmental test chambers
* Burn-in ovens
* Vibration and shock testing equipment
* Automated test systems (ATE)
* Soldering and rework equipment
* Microscopes and inspection systems
* Electrical measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
Typical Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
US Citizenship required
* Manufacturing, electronics, laboratory, or technical experience preferred
* Ability to read work instructions and technical documentation
* Basic computer skills
* Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
* Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
$17 and start time 8am-4:30pm
