Salary: $20hr+

Job Summary: Determine specific problem or failure with the products returned by customer for repair.  Work within department troubleshooting procedures and guidelines to complete repair or replace as required.  Complete all repairs within the turn-around timelines to meet customer expectations. 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair returned products.
• Take assignment from Manufacturing Engineering and/or supervisor in effort to identify failure root causes, repair and troubleshoot from a test, repair and calibration standpoint.
• Troubleshoot complex printed circuit board assemblies to the component level.
• Read and work from schematic drawings and other forms of engineering documents to regulate the repair process.              

Required Skills: 

• Proficient in component solder and de-soldering operations.
• Ability to collect failure/defect data.
• Proficient in MS Office applications. 
• High proficiency in using standard test equipment such as multimeters , oscilloscope , function generators and etc (use of microscope may be required).
• Knowledge of IPC standards (class 1 & 2) is a plus.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
