Express Employment Professionals of Downey is seeking TEMP Warehouse Workers for a variety of job sites in the Downey, Vernon and Gardena areas; ideal candidates are those that are serious about showing up for work and able to follow basic instructions.

Schedule: Morning and Afternoon shifts - MUST be adaptable to either shift

Job Location: WILL BE DISCUSSED UPON INTERVIEW/ONBOARDING

Pay starts at $20.00 (higher pay is possible depending on experience and shift)

Employment Type: temp, contract

Qualifications:

• MUST be willing to accept to temp work
• 1+ year RECENT warehouse experience
• 1+ year sit-down forklift experience
• Able to follow instructions
• Fluent English required (bilingual is a PLUS)
• Punctual
• Team player
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and sit for long periods of time

Job Responsibilities:

• Pull orders for processing
• Operate sit-down forklift (when needed) 
• Assemble boxes for product packing
• Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents, or instructions
• Perform general housekeeping such as sweeping work areas and cleaning machinery
• Stack and palletize product as needed
• Maintain work areas by discarding of packaging materials (boxes, shrink wrap etc.)
• Operate RF scanner and/or pallet jack
• Other warehouse duties as needed
