Fitter/Welder – 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder for a full-time manufacturing and fabrication position. This role requires someone who can read blueprints, fit components, and perform large-scale welding while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Position Summary

The Fitter/Welder will use blueprints to fit, position, and weld larger fabricated components. This position requires strong welding skills, blueprint-reading ability, and experience working with large-scale fabrication.

Essential Functions

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Fit and position components prior to welding
• Perform large-scale welding and fabrication
• Set up and operate welding equipment and programs
• Inspect completed work for proper fit and weld quality
• Maintain productivity and strong attendance
• Follow all established safety and quality procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous Fitter/Welder or fabrication experience
• Strong blueprint-reading skills
• Experience with large-scale welding
• Ability to accurately fit and align components before welding
• Comfortable operating welding and fabrication equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable with excellent attendance
