As they continue to grow, theyre hiring a Licensed Landscaping Application Specialist who will manage the spray department and lead a team of application technicians while also performing handson application work. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight.

Position Summary

This position is ideal for a selfmotivated, entrepreneurial leader with strong industry knowledge and diagnostic skills. The Specialist will oversee the spray department, manage chemical inventory, support job costing, and train application technicians all while performing field applications and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  •          Chemical Application - Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and specialty treatments per Washington regulations.
  •          Team Leadership - Manage, train, and develop application technicians & build a highperforming spray team.
  •          Department Management - Oversee spray operations, chemical inventory, job costing, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
  •          Diagnostics - Evaluate turf, soil, and plant health to determine accurate treatment plans.
  •          Customer Service - Communicate treatment plans and maintain strong client relationships.
  •          Compliance - Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

  •          Valid Washington State pesticide applicator license.
  •          Licensing in Ornamental Weed, Insect, and Disease categories.
  •          PCO certification or ability to obtain.
  •          5+ years experience in chemical application, turf management, or landscape maintenance.
  •          Strong leadership, training ability, and diagnostic skills.
  •          Excellent communication and customer service.
  •          Ability to work independently and outdoors in all conditions.

 

Preferred

  •          Experience in a multidivision landscaping environment.
  •          Mechanical aptitude and interest in longterm growth.
