Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Insurance Verification & Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate insurance verification, claim processing, and billing support while providing excellent service to patients and providers.

What You'll Do:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Obtain prior authorizations when required
• Accurately enter and update insurance information
• Submit and track insurance claims
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
• Post payments and reconcile accounts
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status
• Assist patients with billing questions and payment arrangements
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with billing and healthcare regulations

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare administration preferred
• Knowledge of insurance plans, benefits, and authorization processes
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
