Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Medical Back Office professional to join a well-established healthcare team in Fort Myers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Administer injections as directed.
• Perform EKGs and other basic clinical testing as needed.
• Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.
• Assist with patient intake and ensure a smooth patient flow.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and general questions.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection-control guidelines.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous medical back-office or clinical experience preferred.
• CMA certification preferred.
• Experience administering injections preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and compassionate.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Comfortable working as part of a healthcare team.
• Recent Medical Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply!
