IT Director

Location: West Chester, OH

Pay: $120-$160k

Job Summary:

The IT Director will lead the company’s overall technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations. This hands-on leadership role will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and effective technology solutions that support manufacturing and business operations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of IT operations.
  • 7+ years of IT experience with manufacturing systems and technology preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems administration, and data protection.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; PLEX experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology implementations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical support and problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and speak/read English due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, technology roadmap, and annual priorities in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, telecommunications, cloud applications, and user access.
  • Manage and support business systems, including the PLEX ERP/MRP platform.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including access controls, endpoint protection, backups, vulnerability management, and security awareness.
  • Develop and maintain incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Oversee help desk and technical support activities to ensure timely resolution of employee technology issues.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors, consultants, software providers, and service agreements.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including hardware, software, capital expenditures, operating expenses, and vendor services.
  • Ensure IT systems and practices comply with applicable cybersecurity, data protection, contractual, and industry requirements.
  • Partner with executive leadership, operations, engineering, finance, HR, and other departments to identify technology needs and improve business processes.
