Terminal Operator / General Laborer

Pay: $18.00/hr
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Terminal Operator / General Laborer for a hands-on industrial position in Bossier City. This role involves working around railcars, operating equipment used to transfer and mix materials, cleaning equipment and work areas, and performing general labor throughout the facility.

This is a physical position best suited for someone comfortable working in an industrial, outdoor, or production environment. Previous terminal or rail experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading water from railcars
• Connect and disconnect hoses and equipment used during railcar unloading
• Operate machinery used to mix and process chemicals
• Monitor equipment during transfer and mixing operations
• Perform general labor throughout the terminal
• Clean tanks, equipment, work areas, and other parts of the facility as needed
• Handle hoses, tools, materials, and other equipment
• Follow established procedures when working around chemicals and industrial equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete other physical labor and terminal duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous general labor, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, oilfield, or production experience preferred
• Comfortable working around railcars, machinery, and chemicals
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Willing and able to perform cleaning and physically demanding work
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn equipment and terminal procedures
